Mini Banana dipped in peanut butter & dark chocolate

This is a great one for kids. It is super easy and fun. It is a fairly nutritious snack as well::: if you use no salt added all natural peanut butter and dark chocolate. The mini bananas are just wicked cute, and kids love them. Makes it a bit easier to dip as well.

  1. Get some mini bananas. Available at most stores.
  2. Get some water heated up for a double boil
  3. Double boil some peanut butter. Smooth or chunky
  4. Score through the peel of the banana about halfway down
  5. Peel half the banana and COMPOST the peel.
  6. Dip it in the peanut butter. The closer you get to covering the exposed banana the less browning will occur.
  7. Place them on a cookie sheet on wax paper
  8. Put them in the fridge, let them cool for 30 minutes.
  9. Start melting you chocolate in your double boiler.
  10. Repeat above steps with chocolate. Including the cooling.
  11. Enjoy!!!
