Meet our College student mentors
Change is Simple currently has four amazing interns! Read below about the passion behind their work.
In order of appearance (left to right):
AAROHI
Aarohi is a third year Northeastern University student pursuing a major in environmental and sustainable sciences and landscape architecture. She has always had a passion for sustainability and design. Aarohi is from Singapore, where she worked at an architecture firm last summer. In her free time she enjoys playing touch rugby, going to the beach, and painting. She is super excited to be at Change is Simple for her first co-op!
AVA
Ava grew up in Bend, OR where she was always skiing, hiking, or camping and was able to really develop a connection and love for the outdoors. She is currently pursuing a combined major of environmental science and landscape architecture, where she’s able to apply her love of designing and creating with my passion for environmental wellbeing. In her free time she loves thrifting, long road trips, and swimming in oceans or lakes. She is on the track and field team at Northeastern University, and is a part-time track coach. She is excited to be able to use and expand these skills at Change is Simple!
ESHNA
Eshna is a fourth year student at Northeastern University, pursuing a degree in marine biology as well as minors in environmental studies and music. She was born and raised near San Francisco, CA and first fell in love with the ocean when she discovered at 6 that dolphins existed. In her free time, she is involved with band and theater, and can often be caught playing NYT mini games or cross stitching. Eshna has spent the last few years conducting marine and environmental science research with various labs at Northeastern University, and is very excited to be taking a break from lab work for the next few months!
MAYA
Maya is a third year Northeastern University student studying environmental engineering with a minor in political science. She is from Tucson, AZ and grew up hiking in the mountains. In high school, she worked on a project collecting plastic waste to upcycle into construction blocks, which led her to pursue my major! She’s always had a love for nature and sustainability, and she wants to share that passion with kids. She’s excited to work at Change is Simple for her first co-op and cannot wait to continue to create projects! Outside of academics, she also loves to crochet, bake, build Legos, and hang out with friends.
