Thank you for making the 2026 It All Adds Up event so meaningful. Because of your generosity, your presence, and your belief in this work, we are proud to share that together we raised over $180,000 to advance 15 years of impact.

Your support is what brings this mission to life. It creates opportunities for students to engage in hands-on climate learning, build confidence in their voices, and take meaningful action in their communities.

The evening itself was a celebration of what you make possible — filled with incredible energy and a shared sense of purpose. Most powerful of all were the stories from Fiona, a 6th grade student, and Will, a Change is Simple alumnus. Their experiences are a direct reflection of your impact and the future you are helping to shape.

Because of you, the next generation of climate leaders is growing, learning, and leading with confidence. Thank you for being such an essential part of this work and for helping build a more sustainable and hopeful future.

During the event and since its release in 2025, we’ve also been sharing the incredible results of a multi-year study examining the long-term impact of Change is Simple programming. The study was conducted by Northeastern professors, Drs. Sara and William Ewell from the Evaluation Institute. The findings highlighted proof that alumni ages 18+ (and at least 10 years removed from the program) adopt lifelong commitments to environmental stewardship; continue to engage in environmental stewardship activities; and involve their families, friends, and communities in such efforts. These results were supplemented by the powerful stories shared by Fiona, a 6th grade Change is Simple student, and Will, a Change is Simple alumnus during the event.

Their voices are a testament to the impact of this work and the bright future we are building together.

Each of our daily actions makes an impact on our world. Change is Simple has created a supercharged STEM program for elementary and middle schools, transforming classrooms into ecosystems and construction zones, kids into scientists and engineers. These students use real-world science tools and project-based learning to create real-world impacts.  Led by college mentors and STEM professionals, our workshops and curriculum inspire children to achieve academic success and become mindful participants in creating a healthier and more sustainable future.
